Are you Fitness Clumbersome? Fit Training Blog for Women 40, 50 and Beyond

I ‘m fitness professional, and I move like one. You know, bicep curl, squat and jumping jacks are my thing.

In Zumba class this fitness pro looks more like a giraffe in high heels than a graceful gazelle. I also swim the speed of a snail.

In and out of the water, I demonstrate what I call a combination of clumsy and cumbersome= Clumbersome!

I see many folks editing their joyful movement due to the fact that they move “funny” or have an offbeat rhythm or mobility challenged kicks. Movement is for everyone and your body is engineered to move.

If the way you look or perform stops you from enjoying active movement, you lose the ability to create energy with your smile and your cha cha (or breaststroke, roundhouse kick or camel pose).

You have a unique body, with special features, so don’t let being clumbersome stop you from expressing your joy de vivre – get out there and exercise your way, like no one’s watching.

Because, the only person that counts is you. What are you waiting for?

Need a coach that encourages clumbersome? Give me a call!
