Is it Time for a Good Offense?

They say the best defense is a good offense- at least that's what Jack Dempsey, the boxing heavyweight champion from 1919-1926 said. He was around for the last pandemic, so I'm thinking, why not adopt his famous comment- I think it's a good one, how about you?

If so, have you thought about YOUR good offense-what you can do to help defend yourself from being significantly impacted by Covid 19 or other viruses in the future?

I, maybe like you, have been watching, reading and studying the information about this pandemic -mostly how to avoid or minimize the risk of tragic consequences. I'm happy that my clients are putting effort into one of the best actions possible to their boost immunity and create healthful resilience- Can you guess what that is?

EXERCISE

There are several underlying conditions that science is recognizing (in any age, not only those over 60) to be "targets" for this particular virus- they are hypertension (high blood pressure), obesity, chronic lung disease, diabetes and heart disease.

Even if you have one or more of these underlying issues, getting yourself on a metabolic exercise program can make a huge difference in your health and your body's ability to resist illnesses like Covid 19.

Metabolic exercise improves your muscle composition and reforms your metabolism, improving the way your body handles glucose and fat.

Metabolic exercise is resistance training AND aerobic conditioning. Not just one. Not just walking without resistance work, and not just strength training without aerobic exercise.

Today is the right day to begin your Good Offense plan.

It doesn't have to be an extreme program, just the right program for you.
