What are your personal health and fitness potholes? It’s that time of year when your car can be swallowed by huge holes left in the road after the Northeast’s crazy winter. Your car isn’t the only thing that can succumb to potholes and ditches, your good intentions and healthy habits can, too.

Taking time to revisit the reasons for lifestyle changes you seek is a great pre-spring activity, whether you are emerging from hibernation or live in a state where sun is the a big part of the state climate.

Did you know?

  • Traditionally, an ideal blood pressure is considered to be around 120/80 mm Hg (read 120 over 80), but many experts believe that 115/75 is preferable .

  • The American Diabetes Association in a 2013 report stated that more than 5,000 people a day are diagnosed with type II diabetes.

  • Any alcohol you consume is treated as poison by your body and must be processed first, before using any body fat.

Take a moment to check for your personal potholes by knowing your numbers, assessing your health risks and recommitting to clean eating and daily physical activity – spring’s almost here! If you need someone to help you navigate the path to improved health and fitness, I'm here to help!
