Moving - the word and the act


"Well, Linda, it's all about Moving, right?"

This is what a past client of mine said in conversation today. It caused me to stop. Think. Ponder. Smile.

Yes! Isn't LIFE all about Moving? We spend time moving UP, moving ON, moving in SYNC, moving and GROOVING. Sometimes we are just moving for the sake of moving (I'm a foot tapper).

Of course, it's not unusual to sometimes find ourselves moving away or even speeding in the wrong direction. So, which way are you moving today?

Toward a healthier, fitter life? Toward happier, more prosperous relationships? Toward more relaxed interactions and calmer days and nights? It's time to sit and assess not only your physical body, but your emotional and spiritual self.

The actual act of stopping and thinking "am I moving toward or away from" fill in the blank (i.e. business success, a fitter body, etc) may be all you need to do to stop reaching for that cookie or finally get on that bike for a ride.
