Summer doesn't end until September 21- you still have time for summer lovin. No, not that kind....
The season for loving yourself never ends.
You put lots of energy into your work, your hobbies, your care taking of others.
It seems even the pets and the garden get more of your attention than you pay to yourself, right?
Self care is one of the highest forms of demonstrating love of yourself.
I know, it sounds silly, huh? But who's going to focus the most on your health and happiness? It's an inside job.
Here are several ways you can still enjoy summer lovin (of yourself):
- book a self care day- a massage, facial or even a few hours reading on the deck can recharge your body and soul.
- work with a personal trainer for a session or two- what's a luxury for some is a necessity for many. Having a professional assess your fitness level and make suggestions on improvements can end the summer strong and begin the fall holiday season in great shape.
- schedule friends/family time- Make it special, and outside your normal activities- maybe a trip to the zoo, a ride on a train or a drive through the country. There are festivals and fairs on every counties schedule, enjoy one!
