Your car needs maintenance and you and/or your garage is really good about reminders concerning the intervals required to keep your vehicle in optimal condition.
If you don't change the oil, maintain the transmission or check the tires, your vehicle won't be serving you very well.
Guess what? Without some regular tune ups, your body can't serve you well, either. So, here's your friendly reminder!
September is right around the corner- is this a good time for you to assess your health and fitness?
Here are three suggestions to be sure your car isn't the only amazing machine getting all the attention...
1. Schedule your normal check-ups, and attend the appointments. I can't tell you how many folks I know schedule and cancel critical medical appointments three and four times before actually going. Be a good caretaker of your body.
2. Tune up your fitness. I know, you used to be able to do military push-ups and get off the floor without hands...can you still? Being able to manage your body weight is a crucial indicator of how long you will live, and that directly relates to how happy you'll live, too.
3. Stop the digital distractions. Concentration and sleep quality has diminished drastically since we have invited digital devices into our daily lives. Be sure to unplug- nature and your friends and family are waiting to get your undivided attention. It's good for your body, and your soul.
