Back to the Future-#backtothefuture Fit Training Blog for Women 40, 50 and Beyond

OK couldn't help it!  It's October 21, 2015 an infamous day for anyone who was old enough to be wowed by the movie Back to the Future.

The movie established some seemingly crazy ideas, amazingly creative and "out there" products and pushed the boundaries of what we thought possible.

Guess what?  Most of those inventions or creative ideas are either real or very close to being real - now!

Today is yesterday's future, and so on and on - what you did yesterday is setting you up for today- fit or unfit, healthier or sicker, happier or unhappier.

Why not make your fitness a priority today so when you arrive at your "future" whether tomorrow, next week or next year, you'll arrive with an improved lifestyle?

Here are a few things we know to be true about physical activity and it's benefits:

  • You can sleep better- moving your body sets you up for more restful sleep tonight.

  • You can feel better- physical activity improves your body image, mood and ultimately your body composition.

  • You can get and stay healthier- whether you are starting out unwell, with one or more medical issues, including cancer, heart disease or diabetes, or want to tune up your current exercise programs.

  • More more and more great results!

Want to reach back into the past to find your new workout?  Go for it! Here is a cool link identifying a few retro workouts that you may remember (like me!) or find new and fun!

My clients have often remarked that they are healthier, fitter and stronger today than they were in the past, which, if you think about the aging paradigm seems amazing, doesn't it?

Well, it's real.

What if when you got back to the future you were a fitter, healthier and happier you!  Need help?  Give me a phone call (how retro!) 203-877-5270
