Happy April 1- a day set aside for high jinks and antics.

 

I remember one year we moved all the furniture in a Vice President’s office totally around.  He had a good sense of humor, thankfully! And then there was the time my entire department called the boss to tell her we had broken our arms.  Fun!

 

Are YOU pranking yourself? 

 You might be, if you think that your bad habits of poor eating, little exercise and minimal sleep have no effect on your health.

 

Next to smoking, inactivity is the second worst habit you can have.  It contributes to diseases and medical conditions simply too long to list here.    Women can be the worst offenders, allowing years to slide by without paying much attention to your waistline expansion, slacking muscles and decreased energy and zest. 

 

“Typical aging process” is what many folks think, and that’s a trick, too!  There is nothing typical about gaining lots of weight or becoming so deconditioned that you can’t run up a flight of stairs without seeing stars.

 

Today, along with laughing at the spoofs you will inevitably see and hear about, take a good look at what’s happening in your body.  It’s not funny to learn you are obese, have diabetes, heart disease or elevated cholesterol.

 

Pull a caper on yourself, and tune up your regime to create your best health, starting today.  If you need help working out a plan, message me, I might be able to help….no foolin!
